Set in Boston’s “Little Italy” and made for under $100,000. The Ciota brothers’ critically acclaimed debut film premiered at the Montreal Film Festival and was the opening night film of the 1997 Boston Film Festival.
After travelling the festival circuit, the film was released theatrically through National Amusements where it played to sold out audiences in Boston and Providence prompting National Amusements’ Shari Redstone to call it “the most successful independent film we have supported”.
